Fabulous Recording of NMAS!
Quite possibly the best AUD recording I've ever heard ... of course, you would expect that at a 700-seat venue, but I digress ... the sound is so good you'd swear it was SBD ... you can hear band members talking onstage from time to time, and one member of the audience insisting repeatedly "I am the Devil!" Luther Dickinson does an excellent job of channeling the dank spirit of Jimi Hendrix thru the filter of R.L. Burnside and Mississippi Fred McDowell, and Cody Dickinson & Chris Chew lay down a killer backbeat of deep-dish bass and metronymic drum swats, driving this badass bus further and harder than it's ever gone before. Alvin Youngblood Hart comes onstage to deliver the sermon during "In My Time of Dying" and I honestly don't think I have ever heard a better performance of this song anywhere, ever. If you're an NMAS fan, you just *have* to DL this recording right away and burn it. FLAC is best, but the vbr mp3 is great too. Huge thanx to whoever recorded and mixed this show, it's a keep and then some. BOY HOWDY!!

Excellent recording
This is a great recording, the clarity of the guitars really impressed me and made me seriously consider picking up a pair of MBHOs, and I would have if they were easier to find. Crowd noise contributes to the energy of the recording, without being distracting (only part that bothered me was the girl who is audible at the beginning of 'Shake'). Thanks for this quality recording!
